Bernie D. has extensive experience in engineering and design, currently serving as the Global Engineering Manager at TPI Composites, Inc. since 2018, where leadership involves overseeing composite tool and wind blade manufacturing across multiple countries and facilitating the transition to 3D composite layup models. Prior to this role, Bernie worked as a Design Engineer at Millennium Concepts, Inc., contributing to the Terrafugia Transition Flying Car project, and held positions at Global Engineering and Tech, where notable achievements included obtaining an STC for a Cessna 206 interior and design work for the Hawker King Air 350. Bernie began the career as a Co-op Teaching Assistant and Design Engineer at the National Institute for Aviation Research, completing the Learjet 60XR project. A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering was earned from Wichita State University in 2016.
