Amira ElShimy is a Technical Project Leader at Toyota Tsusho Connected Middle East FZCO since November 2020, focusing on Tier-1 Connected solutions, particularly In-Car Telematics and IoT Technology for Toyota Genuine Products. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at both Mentor Graphics and Valeo, along with earlier positions such as Developer at Al-Amal Transport and Trade, where Amira converted a Visual Basic program to Java, and a trainee SAP ABAP developer with IBM. Amira began a career in technology as a Developer at Aviation Information Technology, working with MySQL databases. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Science from The German University in Cairo, complemented by ongoing studies for a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Augsburg.
