Rawand Sirwan Nawroly has accumulated extensive work experience in various roles within the technology and product delivery field.

Starting in 2003, Rawand worked as a Database Assistant Manager at West Thames College, where they led the software development function, managed the college database and virtual learning systems, and achieved recognition for delivering digital solutions.

In 2007, Rawand joined Oracle as an Oracle Utilities Dev Lead, leading the front end development of the Lodestar platform and delivering a multi-million pricing and quotation management system for British Gas.

Rawand then moved on to British Gas in 2009 and held multiple roles. As an Application Designer and Scrum Master, they contributed to the design and development process. Later, as an Applications Delivery Manager, they managed the delivery life cycle of BAU and small changes, coordinated internal and external resources, and collaborated with various stakeholders for larger projects.

In 2014, Rawand joined Centrica, where they first served as a Senior Solution Architect, delivering technical solutions following waterfall and Agile approaches. Rawand contributed to the development of Microsoft Dynamics, online payment solutions, mobile apps, and smart devices, among others. Subsequently, they took on the role of Innovation and Technology Product Delivery Manager, championing emerging technologies such as eXtended Reality (XR), IoT, and Digital Twin. Rawand collaborated with business leaders to create the product vision and led the delivery of these concepts into deliverable products.

Currently, Rawand works at Toyota Connected Europe as a Product Delivery Manager, responsible for managing the delivery of products.

Throughout their career, Rawand has demonstrated proficiency in product delivery, technology innovation, solution architecture, and project management.

Rawand Sirwan Nawroly completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science at Royal Holloway, University of London from 2018 to 2025. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) in Software Engineering (With Commendation) at Kingston University. Rawand had previously obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science (2:1) from Kingston University between 2000 and 2004, after completing their A-Levels in IT and Maths at Rutlish Sixth Form (Wimbledon) from 1998 to 2000.

In addition to their formal education, Rawand has acquired several certifications. Rawand obtained the TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group in July 2016 and the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in May 2015. Rawand also holds the Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®) certification from Scrum Alliance, although the month and year of obtaining this certification are not specified.
