Christopher Bickings has extensive experience in fire and emergency services, currently serving as Deputy Fire Marshal for the Township Of Upper Providence since May 2022. A longstanding member of the Berwyn Fire Company since 2007, Bickings has held various leadership roles, including Fire Chief at Exeter Twp Fire Department and Birdsboro-Union Fire Department, and Fire Marshal at Manheim Township Fire Rescue. In addition to these roles, Bickings has worked as a Code Specialist and Operations Manager at Barry Isett & Associates since April 2017 and served as a Hazardous Materials Technician with Berks County Special Operations. Bickings' career began in emergency medical services as a volunteer with Plymouth Community Ambulance Association, progressing to positions such as Flight Paramedic at the University of Pennsylvania and Deputy Chief at VMSC of Lower Merion and Narberth. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Fire Services Administration from Waldorf College and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Fire Science from Montgomery County Community College, with ongoing studies at Columbia Southern University.
