Stacie Phelps currently serves as the Recycling Coordinator and Municipal Forester for the Township of Millburn, NJ, since January 2023. Stacie has extensive experience in arboriculture as a Licensed Tree Expert and Consulting Arborist at SavATree since April 2013. Previous roles include Sales Coordinator at JADAK LLC from April 2012 to April 2013, Eco Instructor at Cornell Cooperative Extension's Peconic Dunes Summer Camp in June-August 2011, and Zookeeping Intern at Rosemond Gifford Zoo in 2009. Stacie also worked as a West Nile Virus Field Technician and Rabies Control Agent for the Jefferson County Department of Public Health from 2004 to 2009, and as an Assistant Zookeeper at New York Zoo at Thompson Park from 2002 to 2003. Stacie holds a Bachelor of Science in Conservation Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and two associate degrees from SUNY JCC in Math/Science and Animal Management.
