Julie Willmot is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the Director of Communications for the Township of Ewing since April 2024, Julie previously held the position of Director of Communications and Public Affairs for Mercer County from August 2006 to August 2024, where Julie facilitated communication for the County Administration and its various departments. Additional experience includes serving as Publicity Chairperson for Boy Scout Troop 28 from 2010 to 2017 and as Assistant News Editor for the Times of Trenton from 1989 to 2006. Earlier in Julie's career, a role as a Water Treatment Operator at Passaic Valley Water Commission was undertaken from 1984 to 1988. Julie holds a Master of Arts in Business Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations from Rider University, along with education from Harvard Kennedy School.
