Amanda Curless MBA, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amanda began their career in 1996 as an admin at T.X.I., where they were responsible for data entry and clerical duties. In 2000, they joined Navistar as an Associate Buyer, handling various purchasing responsibilities and tracking new parts for product launches. Amanda then moved to Workhorse Custom Chassis / Navistar, where they held roles such as NCM Coordinator and Associate Buyer, focusing on quality control and purchasing. In 2009, they worked as a Purchasing Associate at Jarden Home Brands. Since 2011, Amanda has been with The Townsend Corporation, starting as a Compliance Analyst and working their way up to their current role as Director of HR and Compliance. Throughout their career, Amanda has demonstrated strong skills in compliance, purchasing, and HR.
Amanda Curless MBA, SHRM-SCP has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Indiana Wesleyan University, which they obtained from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Greenville Senior High School from 1993 to 1997 and earned a General Education degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In addition to their education, Amanda has obtained several certifications, including SHRM-SCP (Senior Certified Professional) from SHRM in December 2015, SHRM Workplace Investigations Specialty Credential from SHRM in January 2023, and SHRM Executive Network Membership from the SHRM Executive Network in June 2023.
