Rizwan Check is an experienced strategic projects manager currently overseeing revitalization initiatives at the Town of Victoria Park since March 2022. Previously, Rizwan managed infrastructure capital works as a project manager for the City of Wanneroo, coordinating significant projects like the Yanchep Lagoon Masterplan. Rizwan holds a strong background as an infrastructure manager at Curtin University, directing capital works related to hydraulic and transport infrastructure, and as a land development engineer at the EPA MARNE Land Development Authority, focused on urban feasibility and innovative mobility solutions. Early career experience includes civil engineering at ARCADIS, where Rizwan managed technical studies across various projects, and project management at CITELUM, where Rizwan developed public lighting projects and managed extensive streetlight networks. Rizwan holds an engineer's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ESME, école d'ingénieurs généraliste, earned between 1999 and 2004.
