Alan Cavagnaro is a dedicated campaign coordinator at DesegregateCT, where responsibilities include managing special projects, conducting research, and advocating for policy change. Serving as a commissioner on the Planning and Zoning Commission for the Town of South Windsor, Cavagnaro focuses on improving land use regulations to promote affordable housing and transparency. Previous roles include organizing campaign strategies for volunteer engagement at Ned For CT and overseeing operations for the non-profit Future Leaders in Politics, where fundraising and recruitment efforts were prioritized. Cavagnaro has gained legislative experience through internships with the Connecticut Housing Committee and the Connecticut General Assembly, along with a background in community engagement as field director for a state representative campaign. Currently enrolled in a fast-track program at the UConn School of Public Policy, Cavagnaro holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Urban and Community Studies from the University of Connecticut, along with an Associate's degree from Manchester Community College.
