Jim Moran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and political campaigns. Currently serving as Chief of Staff for the Council Office in the Town of North Hempstead since February 2015, Jim Moran leads daily briefings, plans community engagement strategies, and prepares public comments for media and events. Previously, as Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of Community Services, Jim coordinated major town events and managed talent bookings. Through roles with the North Hempstead Democratic Committee and various campaign positions, Jim has developed strong operational skills, built community relationships, and demonstrated a commitment to effective voter engagement. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Secondary Education from Hofstra University and a Bachelor's degree in Politics, Economics, and Law from SUNY Old Westbury.
