Nancy Holmes, CMC, serves as the Town and County Clerk for the Town of Nantucket since August 2009, where responsibilities include Chief Election Officer and Registrar for all Vital Records. Prior experience includes a role as Assistant Town/County Clerk handling Vital Records and State/Local Elections, as well as time spent in the Imaging Services Department at Nantucket Cottage Hospital from August 2003 to October 2006, and with the Health Department for the Town of Nantucket from November 1996 to August 2003. Nancy Holmes is a graduate of the New England Municipal Clerk's Institute & Academy, earning a degree in 2012, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from UMass Boston, as well as an Associate of Science in Retail Management from Aquinas College.
