Scott Pearson currently serves as the Mayor Pro Tem for the Town of Mountain Village since July 2023. Prior experience includes tenure as Executive Director of the DC Public Charter School Board from January 2012 to August 2020, overseeing 115 public charter schools in Washington, DC. Earlier roles encompass Associate Assistant Deputy Secretary at the US Department of Education, VP of Corporate Development at America Online, Director for the Middle East and Mediterranean at the Office of the United States Trade Representative, and Consultant at Bain & Company. Educational qualifications consist of a BA in History from Wesleyan University, an MBA in General Management and an MPA in Public Administration from Harvard, a Certificate in Advanced Spanish from Centro de Idiomas Del Pacifico in Costa Rica, and a High School Diploma from Laguna Blanca School.
