Liz Tretiak has a diverse work experience in various roles within the social services field. Liz is currently working as the Director of Elder and Human Services for the Town of Littleton. Previously, they served as the Senior Center Director for the Town of Northborough. Liz has also held the position of Director of Elder and Human Services for the Town of Littleton from 2018 to 2020. Prior to these roles, Liz worked as the Director of Client Services for BayPath Elder Services and as a Residential Counselor for Berkshire County Arc. Liz gained valuable experience as a Mental Health Counseling Intern at Providence Behavioral Health Hospital and served as a Service Learning Coordinator, Capacity Builder, and Counselor for AmeriCorps. Liz also worked as a Social Work Intern for Gilead Community Services, Inc. and had a Student Development Work Study role at Le Moyne College.
Liz Tretiak completed their education in a chronological order. Liz started by obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Le Moyne College, which they completed between 2003 and 2007. Following that, Liz pursued a Master's Degree in Clinical Art Therapy & Counseling at Springfield College from 2007 to 2009.
Later, Liz pursued a certificate in Local Government Leadership & Management from Suffolk University, which they completed in 2020. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner from the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners® in November 2015.
