Shawn Rooney is an experienced Geographic Information Systems Analyst currently employed by the Town of Greece since December 2022. Prior roles include Senior GIS Technician at Livingston County, New York, from October 2017 to December 2022, along with positions as a Planner and Planning Assistant. Shawn also served as a Planning Intern at Erie County from December 2016 to June 2017 and participated in a study abroad program at the University at Buffalo in May 2016, which focused on urban developments in Estonia. Shawn holds a Master’s Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University at Buffalo (2015-2017) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (2011-2015).
