Josef Jonak is an experienced GIS and data analytics professional with a diverse background in the public sector. Currently serving as Supervisor of GIS and Data Analytics for the Town of Georgina since December 2015, Josef has successfully planned and implemented cost-effective GIS Enterprise solutions. Prior to this role, Josef managed GIS projects for the Town of Caledon and provided GIS project support at the Central Lake Ontario Conservation Authority. Previous positions include Senior Policy Analyst for the Government of Ontario, where Josef conducted extensive data analysis to inform policy decisions, and various roles at the City of Toronto, focusing on GIS implementation and system analysis. Josef holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Geography from Ryerson University, completed between 1991 and 1995.
