William Gaston is an experienced IT professional specializing in systems and network administration. Currently serving as the Systems and Network Administrator for the Town of Fort Erie since July 2017, William previously held the position of Systems Administrator at Vintage Hotels from April 2012 to July 2017, where responsibilities included maintaining Citrix Xen and Windows 2008 servers and managing Cisco switches. Prior to that, as a Network Administrator at CWD from January 2010 to April 2012, William was responsible for the research, planning, and maintenance of various IT systems, including LAN/WAN, VoIP, and Exchange. William began the career as a Technical Support Specialist at Sitel from December 2004 to August 2009, diagnosing issues remotely and supporting on-site technicians. Education was completed at Westlane Secondary School from 1996 to 2001.
