Mariam Coulibaly is a dedicated educator and experienced professional currently serving as a Biology Teacher at Fairfax County Public Schools since August 2023. Mariam has also been a Fiscal Clerk for the Town of Falmouth since June 2022 and previously held the position of Pre-Practicum High School Biology Teacher at Amherst-Pelham School District until March 2024. With a background in serving roles, including a Waitress at Fairmont St Andrews and a Clerk for the Town of Falmouth, Mariam gained valuable customer service skills. An advocate for inclusive education, Mariam contributed to a decolonizing teaching initiative at the University of St Andrews as a STEP Team Leader. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of St Andrews.
