Russell Dean serves as the Town Manager for the Town of Exeter since March 2005, overseeing the administration for a community of over 16,000 residents on the New Hampshire Seacoast, home to notable institutions such as Phillips Exeter Academy and Exeter Hospital. Prior to this role, Russell Dean worked as the Assistant Town Manager and Personnel Director in the Town of Needham from 2001 to 2005 and as the Assistant Town Manager in Reading, Massachusetts from June 1998 to July 2001. Academic qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire and two Bachelor's degrees in Broadcasting and Broadcast Journalism from Arizona State University. Additionally, Russell Dean is an alumnus of Exeter High School.
