Kathleen Hill has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving in a role at the Town of East Longmeadow since July 2016. Prior to this position, Kathleen worked as a consultant and board chair for the New England League of Middle Schools from July 2012 until December 2020. Kathleen also held the position of Middle School Principal at East Longmeadow Public Schools from July 1997 to June 2013, overseeing 675 students and 85 instructional staff, with a focus on staff supervision, curriculum design, and crisis management. Earlier in Kathleen's career, a role as a Social Studies Teacher at Birchland Park Middle School from September 1992 to June 1997 was undertaken. Educational qualifications include a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership and Administration from American International College, a Master of Education in Secondary School Administration/Principalship from American International College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English/Secondary Education from Bridgewater State University.
