Chip Vitone is a retired professional with extensive experience in law enforcement and emergency management. Vitone served as the Deputy Emergency Management Director for the Darien Police Department from January 2016 to January 2022 and held various leadership roles, including Midnight Shift Commander and Administrative Lieutenant, from December 1983 until retirement in May 2021. Academically, Vitone earned a Master of Science in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management and a Master of Science in Forensic Science/Advanced Investigation from the University of New Haven, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Fairfield University. Additionally, Vitone completed the Senior Management Institute for Police at the Police Executive Research Forum in 2014.
