Anika Drost, RPP, MCIP, is an experienced urban and regional planning professional currently serving as a Senior Planner at the Town of Canmore since July 2022, following the role of Development Planner. Prior experience includes positions as a Planner and Casual Planner with Parkland Community Planning Services from June 2021 to April 2023, and Development Technician with the Town of Cochrane, Alberta from September 2019 to June 2021. Anika's career began with the Municipal Government Board, where roles included Board Officer from June 2016 to August 2019, as well as Planning Student and Co-op Planning Student from May 2014 to June 2016. Anika holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Alberta, completed in 2016.
