Laura Ducharme has extensive experience in community services and child welfare, currently serving as the Community Services Director for the Town of Acton, MA, since January 2009. In this role, Laura collaborates with local law enforcement and educational institutions to connect residents with essential social services. Previous roles include Developmental Specialist at MINUTEMAN ARC EARLY INTERVENTION and Supervisor/Residential Counselor at Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps, where Laura provided therapeutic support to adolescents facing various challenges. Additional experience includes Health Care Access Coordinator at LUK, Inc., and leadership roles at Seven Hills Foundation and Fitchburg Public Schools, contributing to the management of childcare services and outreach activities. Laura holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Clark University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Fitchburg State University.
