Marco Racanelli is an experienced leader in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as President of Tower Semiconductor since September 2008, where previous roles included Senior VP and GM. Prior to this, Marco held the position of VP of R&D at Jazz Semiconductor from March 2002 to September 2008. Additional experience includes serving as Director of R&D at Conexant Systems, Inc. from 1999 to 2002, Manager of R&D at Rockwell International from 1996 to 1999, and R&D Engineer at Motorola from 1991 to 1996. Marco Racanelli earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, completing the degree in 1991.
