David Walters began their work experience in 1984 at Rockwell International, where they held various engineering positions until 1998. David then worked as a Process Engineering Manager at Conexant Systems from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they joined Jazz Semiconductor in 2002 as a Sales Manager, responsible for managing sales in the Western U.S. region, as well as strategic accounts in Israel and the U.S. In 2008, Tower Semiconductor and Jazz Semiconductor merged, and David became the Sr. Director of Sales, overseeing sales in the Western U.S. region.

David Walters attended Horace Greeley High School from 1978 to 1981. David then went on to study Electrical Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology from 1981 to 1984. After that, from 1985 to 1988, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at California State University, Fullerton. In 2001, David obtained their MBA in Business from the University of Phoenix. In terms of certifications, they completed ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Training in 2003, obtained Quality Management Systems Auditor/Senior Auditor and Quality Management System Lead Auditor Training Class certifications in 2012, and completed Camp Negotiation Systems certification in 2015. David also obtained a certification in FrontLine Leadership from Zenger Miller, but the specific date is unknown.
