Stav Sioutis is a quantitative researcher at Tower Research Capital since July 2021, focusing on systematic machine learning strategies. Prior experience includes serving as a senior quantitative trader at Quest Partners LLC, where central execution algo development and fast macro alpha research were key responsibilities. At Gelber Group LLC, Stav held the position of quantitative portfolio manager, successfully researching, implementing, and managing high Sharpe (7+) statistical arbitrage algorithmic trading strategies. Stav's military background includes serving as a sergeant and supply chain director in the United States Marine Corps, optimizing maintenance processes for aircraft readiness. Additionally, Stav co-founded Eden Aquaponics, serving as research director and specializing in innovative aquaponics systems for extreme weather agriculture. Academic qualifications include a B.S. in Applied Mathematics/Computer Science/Econometrics from UC San Diego and an M.S. in Applied Mathematics/Computational Finance from the University of Washington.
