Akash Verma is a skilled quantitative trader and researcher with extensive experience in developing systematic volatility-based strategies and managing significant portfolios. Currently at Tower Research Capital since May 2022, Akash focuses on index and single stock options. Previously, Akash worked at Cutler Group, LP as a quantitative trader specializing in equity options, and at Kristal.AI as a quantitative researcher, managing over USD 200M in portfolio strategies that consistently outperformed benchmarks. Earlier roles include serving as a trade analyst at Credit Suisse, where responsibilities included pricing various financial products, and as a business analyst at Fullerton India Credit Company Ltd., focusing on risk performance and predictive modeling. Akash holds a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
