Gerhard Esterhuyse has held various roles in the travel industry. Gerhard started their career at Tourvest Travel Services in 2006 as a General Manager and continued in that role until 2014. In 2014, they joined Tourvest Retail Services as the Head of Department, where they currently work.

From 1992 to 1998, Gerhard Esterhuyse attended Vaal University of Technology, where they pursued a National Diploma in Marketing and National Diploma in Travel and Tourism.
