Kevin Nguyen is an aspiring aerospace engineer currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at UC San Diego. As an Engineering Intern at Tour Engine, Inc. since July 2023, Kevin is focused on developing a split cycle combustion engine aimed at ultra low NOx and carbon emissions for micro-CHP units. In addition, Kevin serves as a Design Engineer with Triton Racing, where responsibilities include designing and developing a formula-style vehicle for the collegiate Formula SAE competition. Previous experience includes roles as an Intern at Bay Area LEEDS, where over 50 students were assisted with engineering projects and curriculum development, an Instructor at richmondCodes teaching computer science, and a Mathematics Science Tutor at Contra Costa College, specializing in math and chemistry subjects. Kevin's educational background includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences from Contra Costa College and an Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Middle College High School.
