John Cui has an extensive work experience spanning over 20 years. John began their career in 1998 as the Product Owner & Developer for YAHCA HTML Compressor. In 2000, they took on freelance work as a Website Designer and Flash Developer. From 2001 to 2002, John worked at Wired Electronics Inc. as a Technical Operations Manager, Performance Tuning Specialist, Web and Graphic Designer, and Technician. During this time, they also worked at PGMFI.ÂÜÀòÂÒÂ× as an Open Source Developer and Contributor. In 2002, John took on the role of Product Owner & Developer at CROME. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Sarj Consulting as a System Administrator, Oracle Product Specialist, Senior Software Developer - Full Stack, and Chief Technologist and Product Architect. In 2015, John was a Full Stack Web Developer at Shredz Supplements LLC. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Blackthorn.io as a Chief Technical Architect, Chief Technology Officer, and Platform Architect and Lead Engineer. Currently, John is the Engineering Manager at Tough Leaf.

John Cui obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Rutgers University - Newark in 2006. In 2014, they obtained a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in November and an Oracle Argus Safety 7 Certified Implementation Specialist certification from Oracle in June.
