Ellie Skelton is the CEO and Executive Director of Touchstone, a mental health organization. Ellie has over 20 years of experience in the mental health field.
Ellie started their career as a community case manager at South Metro Human Services. Ellie then became the Director of Mental Health Services at Community Involvement Programs. In this role, they oversaw the mental health services for the organization.
Ellie then became a community faculty member at Metropolitan State University. In this role, they taught classes and provided guidance to students.
In 2006, they became the Executive Director of Wayside Recovery Center. In this role, they oversaw the operations of the organization and worked with the staff to provide care to patients with eating disorders.
In 2014, they became the Director of Operations at Melrose Center. In this role, they oversaw the operation of a busy evidence based eating disorder clinic with residential and outpatient care. Ellie also assisted with opening a third outpatient location in St. Paul.
In 2016, they became the CEO and Executive Director of Touchstone. In this role, they oversee the operations of the organization and works with the staff to provide care to patients with mental health disorders.
Ellie Skelton has a MA in Health and Human Services Administration from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature / Women's Studies from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Ellie is also certified as an Adult Mental Health First Aid Instructor USA from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
