Matthew Cole possesses extensive experience in data management and analytics, currently serving as Team Lead for Data at Torstar Corporation since February 2018, following a long tenure at Toronto Star where the roles included Manager of Business Geomatics and Manager of Business Geomatics & Database Analytics from October 1999 to February 2018. Earlier in the career, Matthew worked as a GIS Specialist and held a position as Client Services Representative at Compusearch from July 1998 to September 1999. Academically, Matthew holds a Master of Spatial Analysis from Ryerson University, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Geography from Ryerson University and a Dispute Resolution Certificate from the University of Toronto.
