Hamza Humayun is a seasoned data science and actuarial professional with extensive experience across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Data Science Advisor at Desjardins General Insurance Group since December 2020 and as a Data Scientist at Torstar Corporation since July 2019, Hamza has developed a strong background in data analysis and application development. Previous roles include Data Scientist positions at Track DDB and a Consultant at Vena Solutions, where significant projects included a web application for crime trend analysis in Pakistan. Hamza's early career spanned actuarial roles at Reinsurance Group of America, Manulife, and Towers Watson, with responsibilities including pricing, valuations, and client communication.
