Craig Rankine, CA, CPA, is a highly experienced finance professional currently serving as Partner and Chief Financial Officer at TorQuest Partners since May 2006. In this role, Craig is responsible for financial reporting, governance, compliance, and limited partnership relations, while actively managing the tax and legal structures of the Funds and general partner. Craig has played a significant role in the Fund II portfolio company investments and collaborates closely with investment teams, corporate counsel, and tax advisors on various legal and tax matters. Prior to this position, Craig was a Manager at Deloitte Canada from September 2000 to May 2006, where Craig specialized in advising private equity funds on fund structuring and M&A tax issues. Craig holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Toronto, obtained in 2000.
