Jane Kim is a seasoned producer and industry professional with extensive experience in film festivals and media arts. As the Producer of Industry Programmes at the Toronto International Film Festival since 2019, Jane manages a range of initiatives including the Industry Conference, Filmmaker Lab, and various accelerator programs. Prior to this role, Jane served as an International Programming Consultant and Acting Industry Programs Manager at Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival, contributing to numerous film festivals as a programmer and juror, while also working as a freelance media producer. Jane holds a Doctorate in Humanities from York University and a Master of Fine Arts in Film/Video Production, further underscoring a strong academic foundation in the arts.
