Jose Galarza-Wandemberg is an experienced software engineer currently working at The Toro Company as a Software Engineer 3, where responsibilities include coordinating software development efforts and deploying new features to production devices. Previously, at Resideo, Jose led a team in developing a user interface for a smart thermostat and worked with multi-threaded C++ codebases for embedded IoT devices. As an Embedded Systems Design Engineer at Eden Medical Inc., design work focused on medical PCBs and writing Linux drivers for various sensors. Early career experiences include internships at Nova Flex LED and Lab 651, as well as roles as a Teacher Assistant and Network Administrator. Jose holds degrees in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering from St. Cloud State University.
