Nilesh Gonsalves is an experienced professional in the maritime and operational management sectors. Currently serving as the Operational Performance Manager at TORM since October 2016, Nilesh drives initiatives to optimize resource usage and reduce CO2 emissions and fuel costs. Previous roles include Traffic Manager and Assistant Manager at Metro One Operations Pvt. Ltd., where responsibilities spanned operational management and technical training. Nilesh also held positions as Manager of Planning, Project Manager, and third and fourth engineer in various maritime companies, gaining extensive knowledge in operation coordination, maintenance systems, and engine room machinery. Nilesh’s educational background includes a Marine Engineering degree and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
