Laura Crimi is an Associate in the Technology and Privacy & Data Management Group at Torkin Manes LLP, with a career that includes positions such as Volunteer Advisor at MaRS Discovery District and Associate in Technology and Intellectual Property at LaBarge Weinstein LLP. Previously, Laura held roles as an Associate and Articling Student at MBM Intellectual Property Law LLP and contributed as a Legal Researcher for the UN Special Rapporteur with Pro Bono Students Canada. Other experiences include a Legal, Trade and Policy Internship with the World Health Organization, a Graduate Student Researcher at the Centre of Genomics and Policy, and participation as a Team Member on Genome Canada's National GE3Ls Project. Prior to these roles, Laura was a Bioinformatics Research Assistant at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research. Academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from Western University, a Master of Science in Experimental Medicine from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Queen's University.
