BÃ¥rd Bjarghov has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. BÃ¥rd started their career in 1997 as a Second Engineer at Royal Caribbean International, where they carried out inspections and maintenance tasks in the engine room. BÃ¥rd then worked at Seabourn Cruise Line, first as a Second Engineer and later as a First Engineer and Chief Engineer, responsible for ensuring safe and efficient operations, organizing repairs and services, and supervising maintenance activities. At Seadrill, they served as an Assistant Technical Section Leader and an Engine Room Operator, where their responsibilities included monitoring and coordinating maintenance and testing of machinery. Most recently, they worked as a Chief Engineer at Torghatten Nord AS and as a Bryggemester at NORDGÃ…RDEN GÃ…RDSBRYGGERI BJARGHOV.
Bård Bjarghov attended multiple educational institutions throughout their education history. In 1987, they studied at Brønnøy upper secondary school, where they focused on the field of study of Mechanic. The following year, from 1988 to 1989, they attended Østun upper secondary school to specialize in Car Mechanic. In 1989, they completed another term at Østun upper secondary school, continuing their car mechanic studies. From 1992 to 1993, Bård pursued Marine Engineering at Rørvik upper secondary education school. Subsequently, in 1994-1995, they enrolled in the Norwegian correspondence school (NKI) to pursue Supervisor school with corporate economics. Lastly, in 1996-1997, they attended Bodin upper secondary school and focused on Marine Engineering.
