Jose Valadez is an experienced finance professional with a proven track record in various leadership roles across the mining and finance sectors. Currently serving as Mexico Finance Manager at Torex Gold Resources Inc since July 2015, Valadez has contributed to the successful management of the $800 million ELG Gold Project. Prior to this, Valadez held key financial positions at Nyrstar, Great Panther Silver Limited, and HURSTS BERRY FARM INC, focusing on finance, treasury, accounting, and operational controls. Valadez's earlier experience includes significant roles at Goldcorp Inc and positions as Internal Auditor Manager at Ingredion and Fresenius Kabi, as well as Senior External Auditor at PwC. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a Licenciatura in Contabilidad y Finanzas from Universidad Panamericana.
