Joshua Petrin is an accomplished software engineer with extensive experience in both industry and academia. Currently serving as Software Engineer II at Torc Robotics since August 2019, Joshua previously held the position of Software Engineer I at the same company. Prior to this role, Joshua worked at Vanderbilt University as a Makerspace Mentor and Research Assistant, where responsibilities included designing electrical schematics and circuit boards for radiation testing. Joshua gained additional experience as a Software Engineering Intern at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Barge Design Solutions, Inc., focusing on the design of distribution systems and riser diagrams using CAD. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University, earned in 2019.
