Greg Valatka is an experienced professional in quality leadership, engineering management, and continuous improvement. Currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at Virginia Tech's Pamplin College of Business, Valatka teaches a senior-level course on Productivity and Quality Leadership. In the role of Senior Director of Quality, Facilities, and Occupational Safety at Torc Robotics, Valatka contributes to the development of autonomous vehicles in partnership with global clients. Previous roles include Value Stream Manager and Engineering Manager at Federal-Mogul Powertrain, Senior Operations Manager at James Hardie Building Products, and Senior Director of Engineering at Spectrum Brands, where Valatka led significant improvements in manufacturing processes and product development. Valatka holds a Master's Degree in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, both from Virginia Tech.
