Michael started their career at Carpenter Co. as a Pouring Manager, where they managed a team and implemented process improvements that increased production yield and saved costs. Michael then worked at Toray Plastics America as a Senior Process Engineer, where they successfully reduced manufacturing costs and set production records. After that, they joined Madico as a Group Leader, overseeing process engineers and technicians and implementing systems to improve productivity and safety. Michael returned to Toray Plastics America as a Technical Sales Engineer, leading the development of a unique foam product and creating marketing strategies for product launches. Michael later became the Sales Manager, responsible for developing distribution channels and growing the flooring market. Finally, they served as the Director of Production, leading a large team and achieving significant profit recovery and cost reductions through technology installation and process improvements. Overall, Michael Swanson has a proven track record of leadership, innovation, and achieving results in the manufacturing industry.
