Sedat Akyurek has a strong background in engineering and leadership roles. Sedat is currently the Vice President of Engineering at TopView since 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Research and Development at Meridian Capital Group from 2022 to 2023. From 2020 to 2022, Sedat worked as the Director of Product Engineering at Smart Energy Water.

Before joining Smart Energy Water, Sedat held the position of Director, Global Head of Technology for Liquidity Management Services at Trade and Treasury Services in Citi from 2012 to 2020. Before their time at Unisys Corporation, Sedat held the position of Director of Software Development at Firepond from 2000 to 2002. Sedat focused on the development of Firepond's eServicePerformer product, which offered web-based eCRM applications with multiple channels.

Sedat began their career at IBM in 1994 as an Advisory Software Engineer. Sedat led a team of engineers and worked on improving the performance of network and data communication components of IBM's UNIX operating system, AIX.
