Kim Nyhjem is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT management and software development. Currently serving as a Major Incident Manager at Topdanmark since April 2021, Nyhjem focuses on maintaining safety through Major Incident Management and promoting stability via Problem Management. Previously, at Alm Brand from January 2000 to April 2021, Nyhjem held multiple roles, including Problem Manager, Project Manager in IT operations, Senior SCM Architect responsible for DevOps, and head of the Java department as a Java specialist/manager. Early career experience includes a role as a Programmer/System Architect at BRFkredit from June 1987 to December 1999, emphasizing legacy system refactoring and software configuration management. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in IT Leadership and Management from IT-Universitetet i København, a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Aalborg University, and a B.B.S. in Math-Physics from Kildegaard Gymnasium. Nyhjem is also recognized as a scrum coach and agile evangelist.
