James Caccavale, CRIS, CBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. In their current role at TopBuild, starting in 2023, they serve as the Vice President, Risk Services, Credit & ESG. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they worked as the Sr. Director, Risk Services & ESG at TopBuild. From 2019 to 2021, they held the position of Director, Risk Services at TopBuild, where they managed risk management, safety, environmental, and contracts management. James also served as the Director of Risk Management and Director of Risk Management & Health/Safety at TopBuild from 2015 to 2016 and 2016 to 2019 respectively.
Before joining TopBuild, James worked at Masco Contractor Services, starting in 2007. During their tenure, they held various positions including Director of Risk Management from 2012 to 2014, Sr. Manager Risk Management/Credit Services & Collections Litigation from 2011 to 2012, Manager of Credit Services & Collections Litigation from 2009 to 2011, Program Manager ERP from 2008 to 2009, and Credit Supervisor from 2007 to 2008.
Prior to Masco Contractor Services, James worked at HD Supply as a Litigation Manager from 2004 to 2007.
James Caccavale, CRIS, CBA has a diverse educational background. James holds a Master's Degree (M.S.) in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's Degree (B.S.) in Legal Studies, both from the University of Central Florida. Additionally, they have an Associate's Degree (A.S.) in Paralegal Studies from Daytona State College.
James has also pursued certifications in various fields. James has completed the CRIS (Certification in Insurance - Construction) program from the International Risk Management Institute. James also obtained the CBA (Credit, Financial Analysis & Accounting) certification from the National Association of Credit Management. In terms of occupational safety and health, James has obtained the OSHA - 30 Hour Certification from Click Safety - OSHA.
Continuing their education, James is currently pursuing an Associate's Degree in Risk Management (ARM) from The Institutes, which they started in 2020 and is expected to complete in 2021.
