Davide Calonico is an experienced researcher and leader in the field of metrology, currently serving as Dirigente di ricerca at I.N.RI.M. ISTITUTO NAZIONALE DI RICERCA METROLOGICA since January 2021. In addition, Davide has held the position of Head of Division for "Quantum Metrology and Nanotech" at INRIM since January 2019 and has been the Chairman of the Board for the TOP-IX Consortium since February 2015. Prior experience includes a role as a Time and Frequency Researcher at INRIM from January 2005 to December 2015 and a Marie Curie Fellowship at the École normale supérieure & French National Metrological Institute in 2001-2002, focusing on advanced atomic fountain frequency standards. Davide holds a Master’s Degree in Physics from the University of Turin and further education from Politecnico di Torino.
