Mason Rettig has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Mason started their career as a Help Desk Support Technician at the University of North Texas, where they provided technical support to university library staff and students. Mason also worked as a Technical Support Specialist, ensuring the smooth operation of computers in the Technical Writing labs.

Later, Rettig joined Top Image Systems as a Cloud Systems Administrator in 2018, where they currently hold a role. Prior to that, they worked at Fujitsu America, where they held multiple positions. These positions include DevOps Systems Administrator, Wintel Administrator, Process Controller, Level 1 Incident Manager, and Call Coach/Support Technician.

As a Wintel Administrator, Rettig was responsible for providing Windows Server administration support to one of Fujitsu's clients. Mason handled various tasks such as troubleshooting, patching, outage response, root cause analysis, and monitoring for multiple domains and Windows servers.

In their role as a Process Controller, they played a key role in creating, refining, and integrating the process controller and alert management roll in Fujitsu's Network Operation Center. Mason ensured proper ticket processes were followed and created high-priority tickets based on major alarms for customers.

As a Level 1 Incident Manager, Rettig acted as a liaison between the service desk and major incident management team, acknowledging incident tickets that could have a severe impact on the company or its clients.

Lastly, as a Call Coach/Support Technician, they provided phone support to Acosta employees, ensuring high-quality support and handling a high volume of calls with various issues.

Overall, Mason Rettig has demonstrated their expertise in cloud systems administration, DevOps, Windows Server administration, ticket management, and technical support throughout their work experience.

Mason Rettig attended the University of North Texas from 2008 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in German Language. In addition to their degree, they have also earned two certifications: MCSA: Windows Server 2012 - Certified in 2018 from Microsoft, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF) in 2020 from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
