Amanda Barbe has an extensive work experience with Toowoomba Regional Council, starting in 2008. Their roles within the council include Coordinator Learning and Organisational Development, Human Resource Officer, Senior Business Partner, Coordinator Talent Acquisition and Retention, Principal Workplace and Industrial Relations, Principal Business Support, and currently, Principal Strategy and Business Operations.

Amanda Barbe attended the University of Southern Queensland from 2004 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management.
