Danny O'Donnell has over 20 years of experience in the culinary industry. Danny started working as a Chef at Fratelli Sarti in 1993 and stayed with the company until 1999. Danny then moved on to Too Fatz in 2002 where they worked as a Chef for a year. In 2003, they joined Otago cafe as a Chef and worked there until 2006. Danny then worked as a Head Chef at Esca restaurant from 2006 to 2009. Danny then joined Tony Macaroni as a Head Chef in 2009 and worked there until 2020. In 2020, they briefly worked for Flow Logistics UK in a Delivery role. Finally, in 2022, they returned to Tony Macaroni as the Head Chef.

Danny O'Donnell attended John Paul Academy from 1988 to 1994, where they obtained their High School Diploma in Mathematics and Statistics. Following their time at John Paul Academy, they enrolled at the University of Glasgow to pursue a degree in Geography, although the specific start and end years for this period are not provided.
