Juan Pineda is a structural engineer with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently, at Tonkin since January 2023, Juan focuses on advanced structural engineering projects. Previous roles include designing steel structures and sheds at Adelaide Structural Engineers Pty Ltd, conducting forensic engineering reports, and teaching at both the Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción and the University of Adelaide. Educational qualifications include a Master of Engineering from The University of Tokyo, a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University of Adelaide, and ongoing studies at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology. Juan's expertise encompasses compliance with various Australian and international standards, and foundation designs for concrete bridges and buildings.
